How to submit

Send a one-page letter about you and your book, plus the first twenty pages, to

Attach as PDF or Word. Tell us where the story begins, where it turns, and what it leaves the reader holding.

We read everything we receive and reply to everyone, usually within 8–12 weeks. Simultaneous submissions are welcome — just let us know if your book finds a home elsewhere.

What we look for

  • A true voice — honest, specific, unafraid
  • Transformation: loss that became beginning
  • Light the reader can carry out of the book
  • Any form: memoir, novel, essays, poetry
  • Late bloomers, second acts, quiet revolutions
